Islamabad Police have arrested five outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 100 wine bottles, brewing items, hashish and stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday. On a tip-off, Assistant Sub-Inspector from Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police raided at house No 40, street No 80, sector G-13/1 and arrested Yaqub Masih s/o Rehmat Masih and Aamir s/o Jehangir resident of Chak No 59/MD Khushab for preparing liquor in the basement of the house.

CIA police also recovered 100 liquor bottles and distillery items from the house and further investigation is underway from them. ASI Tipu Sultan from Tarnol police arrested Azmat Muneer and recovered stolen CNG kit of vehicle from him while Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali and ASI Muhammad Nawaz from Bhara Kau police station nabbed Nadeem and Aslam, besides recovering 500 gram hashish and 30 bore pistol from them respectively. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials for further efficient policing.-PR
